Editing Media Files
This tutorial explains how to manage and edit images within the WordPress Media Library.
1. Access Media Section
Click “Media” to open the media section of your WordPress dashboard where all your uploaded files are stored.
2. Open Media Library
Click on the image or media file you want to edit.
3. Edit Selected Image
Click “Edit Image” to open the editing interface for the selected media file, allowing you to modify its properties.
4. Select Tool
You can crop the image, rotate it left or right, flip it horizontally or vertically, and scale (resize) the image.
5. Apply Image Changes
Click “Save” to apply your edits.
6. Edit Image Details
Update Image Details: Title, Caption, Alt Text (crucial for SEO and accessibility), and Description.
The edited media will automatically update wherever it’s used (unless inserted as a separate copy).
