Adding a link to a redirect page

There are 3 ways to add a link to a redirect page in HQi. But whatever method you choose, you need to start with this first step…

1. Open Add/Edit Pages

Under HQi’s “Content Manager” tab, select “Add/Edit Pages.” Find the section or page you wish to add a link to, then select the blue cogwheel icon on the right hand side (next to the up arrow, as shown on the example below).

Open Add/Edit Pages

2. Select Redirect Page

Click the redirect page to choose the page where you want to add the redirect link.

3. Open Category Selection

Select the “Page” button and from the drop-down menu, choose the page you would like it to redirect to. Hit the “Save” button when you are done.

Open Category Selection

4. Choose URL Option

If you’re linking to a URL, select the “URL” button and add the whole URL of the page in the text field, as shown below.

5. Access Additional Settings

Add the url in the field. There’s no need to put in “http://” as this is added automatically. Then click “Save.”

6. Select Relative URL

Another way to include a link is to select the “Relative URL” button, where you can use a relative URL. An example of a relative URL is /site/ASX-Announcements

7. Linking to a Relative URL

Add the relative url in the field.
