Editing Announcements Using Newsroom
There are two ways to edit announcements if you have selected Pending in the approval process settings.
1. Navigate to IRM Newsroom
The first option is to edit the release of an announcement from HQi.
2. Open Pending Announcements
To do this, select the Pending tab under the IRM Newsroom section on HQI’s menu.
3. Select Announcement to Edit
On the following screen, choose the Distribution Channel you wish to edit for your Pending announcement.
4. Choose Web Pages for News Display
You will be taken to the following screen, where you can make changes to the announcement in the brief field.
Once you are finished editing, tap the Save button. From this screen you also have the option to Save and Release, which will release the announcement to your appointed distribution channels after saving it.
5. Approval Required
The second method is by clicking Edit when you receive the Approval Required email.
This will take you to the following screen where you can make changes to the announcement in the brief field.
You will be asked to login to HQi before you can edit your announcement.
6. Newsroom Confirmation
Once you have finished editing, hit the Save button to retain your amends. From this screen, you also have the option to Save and Release, which will release your announcement to your selected distribution channels after saving it.
