Adding a showcase to your site
HQi Showcase is a great tool to introduce products or services your company can offer. You can also present projects, programs, mining explorations, even real estate or properties related to your business.
IRM will design your Showcase as required. It may be best to speak with IRM Support to ensure the styling is set up to work with the current version of your website. There may be a few necessary tweaks for the Showcase feature to work effectively.
A few examples can be seen in the websites of Seymour Whyte and BWP Trust Property.
How to Add a Showcase on your Website:
1. Introduction
You will learn how to create and configure pages to display your content effectively.
2. Open HQi Content Manager
Click the HQi Content Manager to begin managing your site content.
3. Access Add or Edit Pages
Click Add / Edit Pages to view and modify your site’s pages.
4. Initiate Page Addition
Choose a menu where you want to add the page and click the designated area to start adding a new page to your site.
5. Open Page Selection Menu
Click the page selection dropdown to choose the type of page you want to add.
6. Select Page Type
Enter the type of page you want to add by selecting from options like Biography Page, Blog List Page, or Calendar Page.
7. Add New Page
Click Add Page to create the new page with your selected type.
8. Access Page Title Field
Click the area to enter the title for your new page.
9. Enter Page Title
Enter your page title to identify the content, such as a meetup event name.
10. Access Page Description Field
Click the area to add a description for your page.
11. Enter Page Description
Enter a brief description of the page content, for example, details about the meetup event.
12. Open Page Notes Section
Click Note for the page to add any additional information or remarks.
13. Enable Page Visibility
Click Show page in menu to make the page visible in your site’s navigation menu.
14. Set Page Visibility On
Enter on to activate the page visibility setting.
15. Select Social Category
Click Social to categorize the page under social content.
16. Choose Social Category Option
Enter the appropriate social category such as Best 5, News, or Reports to organize your page.
17. Open Display Page Dropdown
Click the Display Page dropdown to select how the page will be displayed.
18. Select Display Page Option
Choose the display page option that fits your content presentation needs.
19. Save Page Configuration
Click Save to apply all your changes and add the new page to your site.
Here are the details you need to fill in the fields.

- In the Page Title field, add the name of your new Showcase. This will appear within HQi and on your website.
- Show Page in Menu – Tick this button if you want the page to show within your website navigation instantly. If left un-ticked, the page will not show until the option is selected.
- In the Showcase Category, select the category of your Showcase.
- Display Page – In the drop-down box, choose how you would like your Showcase to display on your website.
- Once these fields are populated, hit the “SAVE” button. You can now add items into your Showcase.
